Public Plaza

Located at Khartoum City, the popular Aldiem in particular, the public Plaza is sited, creating a focal point in serving the community by providing sports facilities and crafts training institute to develop the local communities’ people skills in a useful way.

The plaza included main building, football playground, spectators field and users utility areas, basketball playground and tennis playground, sports hall and indoor cafes, semi Olympic swimming pool, training Centre., council for youth and sports. All parts facilitate of high-quality meeting the requirements of professional athletes.

The use of plain walls and random openings, the main feature a concrete grey volume that is covered with glass panel is located the sports hall. This main building contains randomly arranged openings, on the east side, while providing views to the indoor cafe. In addition the basketball field views from the cafe and the praying area. The beauty of this design is the entertainment sports activities all overlook green spaces that all connect the activities together, creating unity and sense of openness.
